Pro Bowl History & Legacy

The Pro Bowl has been an NFL tradition since 1951, honoring the league's best players and providing fans with an opportunity to see stars from different teams compete together. Originally played after the championship game, it has evolved over the decades to become the week-long celebration it is today.

In recent years, the Pro Bowl has transformed from a traditional tackle football game into the Pro Bowl Games - a week of skills competitions and flag football games designed to showcase player talent while prioritizing safety and entertainment.
