AFC East

The AFC East is one of the four divisions in the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). Established as part of the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, the division has been home to some of the league's most storied franchises and legendary players.

The Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and New York Jets make up this highly competitive division. Known for intense rivalries and cold-weather football, the AFC East has produced numerous Super Bowl champions and Hall of Fame players throughout its history.

The New England Patriots dominated the division for two decades under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, winning 17 division titles between 2001 and 2019. The Miami Dolphins boast the NFL's only perfect season (1972), while the Buffalo Bills made four consecutive Super Bowl appearances from 1990-1993. The New York Jets won Super Bowl III in one of the biggest upsets in sports history.
